ATOL (Air Travel Organisers Licensing)

ATOL is a financial protection scheme for UK tour operators. Over 28 million consumers are protected each year. ATOL protect the customer against the failure of an airline or operator meaning they will not loose the money they have paid. ATOL protected flights are offered with financial protection but this covers only the amount of money paid for ATOL protected elements of your booking, not the actual cost to rebook the flight or the loses that may be occurred on hotels and car hire that you may have also booked.
