Lanzarote is situated just 70 miles off the coast of Africa and is the most easterly of the Canary Islands. Playa Blanca - Once a small fishing village in the most southerly tip of Lanzarote, Playa Blanca has developed into Lanzarote's third resort. Playa Blanca is the most recent development, with a beautiful new promenade along the sea front.
